The outreaches of The Ark are motivated by the simple question: If The Ark was removed from the community, would anyone notice?
A.R.K. The Community
The first Saturday of every month we go into the community to perform Acts of Random Kindness. For 3 hours, we help the homeless, women's shelters, Conroe Parks & Recreation among others. Join us and experience the feeling of knowing you have done good for someone else. Lunch is provided afterwards at the church.
Hospital Visits
Every week these special volunteers visit our hospitalized church members. With a simple visit and a prayer this team brings light into tough situations. If you are interested we would love to have you join this compassionate team of people.
Meal Delivery
When one of our members suffers the loss of a loved one or debilitating illness, we provide them with a home cooked meal. If you would like to be a part of this caring and compassionate ministry, we would love to have you on the team.
Easter
Come and help us as we join with local churches to provide over 10,000 meals the Saturday before Easter. Meals are prepared the week of Easter and delivered all over Montgomery County. It takes hundreds of volunteers to make this happen!
Back to School
Every fall as students get ready to go back to school we provide school supplies for those in need and a FREE HAIRCUT one Sunday morning at The Ark. You can volunteer to help in this one day event that really blesses our families and students.
Thanksgiving
During the Thanksgiving week we prepare over 10,000 meals for area residents in need. Hundreds of volunteers work together in a fun environment as we bless our community.
Pit Crew
The Ark Church Pit Crew is a wonderful gathering of folks that love to cook for people in need. Our Pit Crew cooks meals for thousands of people in Montgomery County each year. If you love to be around a smoking pit or just enjoy helping feed the hungry then this ministry is perfect for you!
