New Series: This Is My Story

The story of Easter and the resurrection of Jesus is one of the most famous and beloved stories in existence.  Nations, cultures, and human destinies have been impacted and changed forever by the events that took place in a remote part of the world over 2000 years ago. But the significance of that one event continues to shape history and change lives today.

The story of Easter is continually being lived out in dramatic fashion through every day people. God is still doing miracles and working wonders, and accounts of lives that have been touched and altered are some of the best modern day reality stories available.

Join us, for a three week series culminating Easter Sunday morning, as we look at how God is still making a difference in people like you… This Is My Story!

Move Up Sunday

Ark Kids and Stadium students will be moving up to the next age level/grade classes on Sunday, June 7th! 
2 year olds currently in N4 will be joining the 2 year old class in rooms 102 & 103 .
Those finishing Kindergarten will be joining G-Force
Those finishing 3rd grade will be joining Club 56
Those finishing 6th grade will be joining Junior High in Stadium.  Junior High classes are held in rooms 104 and 105 during both services.
Those finishing 8th grade will be joining High School classes which are held in room 201 during both services.
Those graduating from High School will be joining The POST class which is held Sundays during 1st service in room 101.

Back To School Outreach 2009

FREE HAIRCUTS
Attention parents!  Sign up for free haircuts given by professional hairstylists on Sunday, August 16th.  All Pre-K thru 12th grade can participate.  Appointments can be made by parents at the kiosks in the lobby.
 
Attention Barbers/Hairstylists
If you have a heart to serve and want to lend your services to help give haircuts on August 16th, sign up at the Back-to-School kiosk in the lobby beginning July 19th or by calling 936-756-1988.
 
School Supplies Assistance Program
Sign ups for back to school assistance will be held July 19th - August 9th on the second floor nearest the south entrance.   If you would like to donate to the school supply assistance program, please mark your cash or check donation “Back to School Assistance” in the amount of your choice and place it in an offering envelope.  Any funds that remain will be donated to the Adopted School Fund.

LifeCare: Every Tuesday Night

LifeCare is a safe place that offers ongoing support for alcoholics, drug-addicts, people with eating disorders, those struggling with sexual addictions or anger, physical or sexual abuse issues and veterans readjusting from war.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only true Higher Power.  At LifeCare, you will find help for life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups!

Beginning Tuesday, February 10th LifeCare will move from Monday nights to Tuesday nights.

3rd Annual Job Fair

On Tuesday, April 21st from 10:00AM - 3:00PM The Ark Church will be hosting the 3rd Annual Job Fair presented by the Greater Conroe / Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce expects to see a variety of job seekers and employers at this event. Express Employment Professionals is the Presenting Sponsor.

iGrow: Classes At The Ark

iGrow classes teach you how to apply God’s principles to your life in a relaxed atmosphere giving you an opportunity to make new friends at The Ark.  Pick up a copy of the iGrow menu at the Welcome Center, the iGrow kiosk in the lobby, or arkchurch.org/igrow.

Jr & Sr. High Sunday Classes

There are biblically-based classes teaching on relevant topics for 7th - 12th grade students every Sunday morning during both services.  Jr. High Classes are located upstairs in Classroom 201 & 202 and Sr. High Classes are located upstairs in Classroom 209.
NOTE TO PARENTS: please make sure your students bring their Bibles. They will need it!
