Responsibilities: 

• Meet regularly with individuals or couples to discuss personal issues/challenges with a high degree of empathy and biblical truth in a non-judgmental manner
  
• Maintain records and confidentiality in accordance with Ark Church policy 

Requirements: 

• Must be over 25 years old and an active attendee for at least 6 months
• Attend initial training, including shadowing other counselors for at least 6 months
• Complete the application process by submitting a 3–5-minute audition video
• Must interview with an Ark Adults Associate Pastor as part of the application process
• Attend weekly huddles and quarterly training sessions
• Attend at least one service per week in person
• Attend Ark Adults Orientation
• Attend Ark Adults Training which happens twice per year

• Serving Shifts: 
• Tuesday, 5:30–8:15pm
• Monday–Thursday, 9:00am-4:00pm (flexible)
• Wednesday, 6:00–8:00pm 
• Sunday, during 1st or 2nd service
