Requirements: 

• 30 years or older
• Attended The Ark for at least 6 months
• Attend Ark Adults Orientation
• Complete an additional application process, including an interview and audition video
• Complete initial training, including shadowing other counselors for at least 6 months

Responsibilities: 

• Meet regularly with individuals or couples to discuss personal challenges with empathy and biblical truth
• Maintain records and confidentiality in accordance with Ark Church policy
• Attend weekly huddles and all applicable Ark Adults training

Serving Shifts: 

• Sunday 9:30-10:30am
• Sunday 11:00am-Noon
• Monday–Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm (flexible)
• Tuesday 5:30–8:15pm
• Wednesday 6:00-8:00pm
