Phillip is a South Carolina native and graduated with an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is married to Ellen, the Children’s Pastor, and has served in full-time ministry since 1989. Despite living in Texas since 1997, Phillip remains a die-hard Oklahoma Sooners fan, enjoys sailing, riding his motorcycle, reading, and spending time with his family.

As Executive Pastor, Phillip’s role includes working closely with the Senior Pastor. Phillip provides strategic leadership, planning, and direction for all ministries. He is also responsible for personnel management, financial administration and oversees the day-to-day operations of the church.

Bob came to The Ark in July of 2010 after serving in full time ministry for 28 years in California and Pennsylvania. Bob graduated from Southeastern college in Lakeland Florida with a degree in Ministerial Studies. Bob & Joyce have been married 29 years and have 2 grown daughters. He enjoys golf, basketball, walking, the beach, travel, reading and spending time with his family.

John came to The Ark in 2009 after being a Youth Pastor for the previous 8 years in Colorado. He received a degree in Pastoral Christian Ministries from Oral Roberts University and also met his wife, Lindsay, while attending ORU. They have been married for eight years and have three children, Brooklyn, Jonathan, and Naomi Hope. Some of John’s hobbies include playing guitar, golfing, tennis, and cheering wildly for the Dallas Cowboys.

John is an excellent role model and leader to the students at The Ark. He is a gifted and inspiring communicator with a genuine love for the students he leads. The Student Ministry offers Sunday classes, special weekend events, summer camps and a weekly Wednesday night service for 7th thru 12th grade students.

Ellen was born in Oklahoma City and is married to Phillip, the Executive Pastor, and they have two children, Joshua and Meagan. Ellen received her Doctor of Education degree from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Her background includes teaching, school administration, overseas missionary work, and being a stay-at-home mom. She relaxes by cooking up a new recipe, reading a great book, or spending time with the girls.

As Children’s Pastor, Ellen provides vision and leadership to all children’s classes and services for birth through 6th grade. She believes that as the church partners with parents, kids can connect with and be transformed by Jesus, and in turn, transform their world...even while they’re still kids!

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Justin’s 16 year journey of leading worship began in Kansas City. Prior to coming to The Ark, Justin was Worship Pastor at Saddleback Church in Orange County, California. Justin and his wife, Mary Beth, have been married for 20 years and have four children, Meagan, JB , Spencer, and Harrison. Justin enjoys practicing martial arts, writing music, and tactical shooting.

As Worship Pastor, Justin’s heart is to inspire and cultivate a lifestyle of worship in the lives of all who attend The Ark.

Rob and Stephanie moved to The Ark in 2004 from their hometown of Urbana, Illinois. They have been married and involved in ministry together since 1996. They have 3 children; Jenna, Peyton and Caleb. In his free time Rob enjoys watching his kids dance around the living room, taking Stephanie to Outback Steakhouse and long distance running.

As Community Pastor, Rob’s heart is to see our community touched by the power and love of Jesus Christ. Outreaches, water baptism, benevolence, widows, orphans, counseling, funerals and hospital visitations are under his personal direction.

Kyle starting attending The Ark in 1999 and quickly became an active member in the student ministry. During his time as a student volunteer he met his wife, Stephanie, who also serves on staff as the Ark Kids Worship Director and together they had their first child, Koen, this past Summer. He graduated with a degree in Audio/Video Production from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Kyle loves to travel with Steph, watch the latest blockbuster, download a new iPad app and spend time with family and friends.

As Media Pastor, Kyle’s role is to support and enhance the message and vision of The Ark. He provides direction and creative implementation of the church’s branding, marketing strategy and weekend service production.

Brandon joined The Ark in 2011 and was previously a youth pastor for 5 years in Northern California. He graduated from Southeastern University with a degree in Practical Theology and soon after married his beautiful wife, Brittany. Brandon’s hobbies include spending time with his wife, playing football, reading, working on cars, watching Burn Notice and White Collar, finding tasty places to eat and playing with their awesome dog, Thor. 

Brandon’s passion is to be a spiritual coach for students, giving them the love and spiritual tools they need to develop an unshakable faith that impacts their world.
