Prayer

Description

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God .”   Philippians 4:6

Prayer is a two-way form of communication, and when we confidently believe that God will answer us when we make a request, He will honor the confidence we place in Him. When we converse with Him through prayer, He reveals to us things that the rest of the world doesn’t know. “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” (Jeremiah 33:3). God doesn’t change. What He said thousands of years ago is still true today and will remain true until the end of time. Effective prayer requires having faith in what God promises us in the Scriptures. One of those promises is that He’ll give us peace of mind when we trust Him enough to turn over all our worries to Him. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6, 7, NIV). Whatever went wrong in our life, God is able—and He wants to—right the wrongs.

Prayer:
Father, you tell me to come boldly to the throne of grace. Thank you for giving us access to you. Thank you for the power of prayer and that I can rest knowing that you hear my prayers, and you are faithful to answer them. I declare in Jesus' name that my prayer life is growing stronger every day in Jesus' name, Amen.
